‘Maradona is light years behind Messi’, says Ramos

football

Genuine Madrid and Spain captain Sergio Ramos has hit back at Diego Maradona as he guaranteed that Lionel Messi, his residential opponent at Barcelona is the best Argentine player ever.

Prior in the week Maradona said that the Genuine Madrid protector was not tantamount to his Atletico Madrid match Diego Godin. Ramos, whose hostility is the way to his prosperity both on and off the pitch has naturally hit back at the 57-year old as he talked after Spain's 1-0 prevail upon Iran at the World Container on Wednesday and made it obvious that his Barcelona match was far better than Maradona.

"In Argentina they realize that Maradona is light years from the best Argentine player in history which, for me, is Lionel Messi," he said.

Ramos who frequently needs to confront Messi while playing against Barcelona in household alliance and different rivalries knows the genuine capability of the little mystical performer yet perhaps the 32-year old protector opined Messi to be the best Argentine at any point simply to give just desserts to the next Albiceleste legend Maradona.

Spain's win moved them joint-best of Gathering B close by Portugal with one diversion left to play in the gathering stage and Ramos was casual about their position.

"They [Iran] went out to sit idle, though we get a kick out of the chance to win in an unexpected way," Ramos said.

"We leave glad. We've stepped forward and now we need to attempt to top our gathering, it's our target.

"Despite everything I figure we can enhance in all viewpoints." Ramos finished up.

Spain play Morocco in their last gathering diversion at the Kaliningrad Stadium on June 25.
